I'm in England right now, summer hols and all that. I've been visitin' my relatives 'cause it's my great nan's hundredth birthday. They're really making a big fuss over it. I suppose I would as well. Anyway, in the short time that I've been here (week and a bit) my parents and I have been to Chester, Liverpool, and London (as well as some other places). I think the most notable thing so far about this trip was that I went to Queen's Theatre in London and saw Les Miserables. That was truly fantastic! Absolutely brilliant.
So yeah, umm... I also went to Madame Tussards (dunno how to spell it), which was a wax museum. Really cool; I stood by a few actors and actresses and got to scowl at Shakespeare. Some animation characters as well as some other movie icons were there as well including Shrek (and the gingerbread man), Spiderman, and a T-rex claw sticking out a huge poster for Jurassic Park. So yeah, that was pretty cool. There was also one part of it where it was portraying some dungeons and half the people were wax and the other half weren't, they were actors that jumped out at you and scared you half to death. It was all really dark, couldn't see where you were going and a background noise of a heart going bump-bump, bump-bump. There was smoke everywhere and loud bangs that would suddenly surprise you. Most of it was predictable, but you still would jump when the guy jumped out at you.
Anyway, not done much art since school ended really. I've been anticipating this trip. I think I was lucky to get on the internet now because the last time I stayed at my nanny's house the internet wasn't wireless and was extremely slow. But, yeah, I've been enjoying seeing my cousins for the first time in a while. I don't really get to see them that often.
