It's dark and cold and wet. These were the thoughts I had while I sat shivering on a park bench I had found. The only light was coming from a flickering lamp post on my right, but it only helped to darken the tree shadows to make it seem like someone was hiding there. The rocky path was cold under my bare feet and the loose stones were caught between my toes. My jeans I had on were soaked wet from sitting on the bench while my shirt clung to my body like a second skin. My skin itself was paler than usual and I was shivering from top to bottom.
